What size of parts and plastic thickness can we thermoform?
Qualiplast has the capabilities to form vacuum parts from the smallest to as large as 9 feet by 13 feet.
Any thermoplastics sheet, with the appropriate strength at melting point can be vacuum formed.

Our dedicated staff has the technical knowledge and expertise to help you select the best material for your part. We typically work with materials in the range of 2.0 mm to 10.0mm, however we can be flexible on this if required for specific projects and have also worked with materials as thin as 0.5mm to 12.0mm.

Tooling Cost?

How much will my tooling cost?

Tooling costs vary dramatically; it depends upon the complexity of the mold design and material requirements to meet your needs. We can provide you with an estimate, once you provide us with some initial information about your product and estimated volume.

Also, Qualiplast can amortize the complete development cost (Custom design, tooling and molds) based on a firm purchase order volume. Any subsequent re-order, pricing is reduced as the unit tooling cost is already paid. With no initial capital outlay for tooling, you can increase your product inventory for increased sales.

How Many?

Do you have minimum quantities?

We don’t have a set minimum; it really depends on your requirements. However, keep in mind that the larger the order, the more we can save you in per-part costs, including tooling costs.

Lead Times?

What are average lead times?

Our sales and design team will work closely with you to understand your time constraints and do everything possible to meet or exceed your expectations. Lead times can vary based on the complexity of the projects, the lead time of raw materials, and the needs and requirements of each customer.

Do we provide sub-assembly of products?

Yes, we are used to dealing with a wide range of plastic products and parts, from small to large, from simple to extremely complex.

Because of this, we have a variety of final part assembly procedures that we can provide for you, including the integration of additional parts/hardware.

Where does plastic thermoforming apply?

We can design and create plastic parts for a wide range of industrial/commercial applications. Large panels, housings, enclosures, trays and similar packaging parts are especially well-suited to the thermoforming process.
